Deploying Local Function to Lambda
When you are done making your changes to the index.js file, you can then upload these changes to Lambda. To do so, in the right hand panel, right click the local lambda function, in this case WaqasTestLambdaFunction > Deploy.
At the center-top, you will see a message about ‘DEPLOYING FUNCTIONNAME TO REGION-NAME’ which will eventually change to ‘APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT COMPLETE’.
Now you will be able to see your local function in the remote function list:
